Early treatments during the growth phase (approx. 6 – 10 years) correct jaw misdevelopments before they become fixed. Aligner therapies usually begin from the late mixed dentition (approx. 10 – 12 years) and are possible at any age thereafter.
In the vast majority of cases, yes — thanks to modern aligner systems and AI-supported planning, we also treat more complex malpositions that previously required fixed braces or jaw surgery. In the initial consultation we clarify this conclusively for your situation.
Aligner therapies usually take 2 – 10 months. Early treatments in children proceed in several phases, each with shorter active stages. We create the exact schedule after the 3D scan.
Aligners for one jaw from CHF 4'500.–, both jaws from CHF 6'500.–. Instalment payments over up to 24 months are possible, from CHF 190.– per month. A detailed cost estimate is provided during the consultation.
Basic KVG insurance generally does not cover orthodontic treatments — they are considered aesthetically motivated. Supplementary dental insurance covers 50 – 75 % depending on the policy. Exceptions apply to severe, medically indicated cases.
To keep the new tooth position, a retention phase with a retainer follows. Without retention, relapse is likely — we discuss this individually and provide the necessary retainers.
